Fairbairn
- Sykes Pattern 1 Commando Knife
The Pattern 1 replica Fairbairn Sykes
Commando knife is made to replicate the original Pattern 1 (P1). The original Fairbairn Sykes Pattern 1 is identified by
the 3" S-shaped cross guard, "FS Fighting Knife", grip with a
diamond cut pattern, and rounded ball end. The knife later was made with a
2" S-shaped cross guard before being finally replaced with oval cross
guard in the P3. The scabbard that would have originally been used
with the Pattern 1 is the scabbard with the buckle snap. The buckle snap
scabbard is fitted with a high polish metal tip.
A unique opportunity to own a finely crafted,
limited edition reproduction of the famous Pattern 1 Fairbairn Sykes
Commando Knife with "S" guard. The hand ground blade displays
the classic tapering edges, a feature found on originals, making this a
truly authentic reproduction.
This series carries unique engraving
on both sides of the ricasso and are sequentially numbered on a first come
first served basis. Available on its own with sheath or in a mahogany
presentation case with complimentary engraving.
